Marie Manon is a Canadian contemporary artist whose vibrant paintings are represented in private collections across 23 countries. Having sold more than 1,000 original artworks throughout her career, she has built a strong international reputation for creating emotionally engaging paintings that combine expressive colour, intuitive mark-making, and a distinctive visual language.
Based in Calgary, Alberta, Marie creates uplifting works that celebrate happiness, resilience, human connection, and the strength of women. Her paintings invite viewers into imagined worlds filled with colour, movement, and possibility. Balancing abstraction and storytelling, her work encourages personal interpretation while evoking a sense of joy, optimism, and emotional connection.
Marie gained international recognition through Singulart, where she became one of the platform’s top-selling artists, with more than 350 original paintings acquired by collectors worldwide. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Paris, London, and Vienna, and has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Calgary.
She is a juried member of the Women’s Art Association of Canada, one of the country’s
most respected organizations supporting professional women artists.
Extending her artistic practice beyond painting, Marie has created a distinctive wearable art collection inspired by her original works. Each piece begins with a painting and undergoes a creative transformation, as elements are reworked, layered, and reimagined into an entirely new design created specifically for fashion. This process allows her artwork to evolve into a different artistic expression, bridging the worlds of fine art and design while offering collectors a unique way to experience her creativity beyond the
gallery wall.
Her artistic journey was featured in the nationally broadcast Canadian television
program "Mon 180", which highlighted her resilience, creativity, and transformation through art.
Marie also shares her creative process and studio practice through her YouTube channel, where she connects with artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts from around the world.
Whether on canvas or through her wearable art collections, Marie’s work is guided by a simple belief: art has the power to inspire, connect, and bring beauty into everyday life.
