Artist's comment I painted this while taking a deep moment for myself. Standing still, breathing.
There was nothing to fix, nothing to rush. Just a need to slow down and stay present with what was there. The layers, the pauses, the darker grounding tones all came from that moment of stopping and listening inward.
This painting holds that space for me — and I hope it can hold it for you too. A reminder that it’s okay to pause, to breathe, to stand quietly with yourself, even if only for a moment. This is not a place to think. It’s a place to be.
