Enchanted Forest was inspired by the desire to create a place of peace in a world that often feels noisy and uncertain. Through layers of soft greys, luminous blues, delicate pinks, and unexpected bursts of colour, this abstract landscape invites the viewer into a dreamlike sanctuary where light, beauty, and imagination quietly coexist.
Rather than depicting a real forest, this painting captures a feeling. It is the feeling of stepping away from the headlines, the distractions, and the worries of everyday life to find a moment of calm. Hidden pathways, hints of flowers, and glowing light emerge from the composition, encouraging the viewer to slow down, explore, and discover their own story within the work.
For me, home should be a place that restores the spirit. Surrounded by art and meaningful objects collected over the years, I have created my own enchanted forest—a space filled with comfort, memories, and beauty. My hope is that Forest enchanté brings that same sense of serenity, warmth, and wonder into your home.
