Artist's comment This large abstract was inspired by the feeling of being inside life’s storms—literal or emotional—and finding beauty in the middle of it all. I wanted it to feel like a dream, with soft brushstrokes and blended colours reminiscent of an Impressionist painting.
The swirling movement suggests a hurricane seen from above: turquoise waters, pastel houses, and tropical flowers barely holding on—but still blooming. It’s a tribute to the fragile beauty of coastal places, and the resilience we all carry when everything feels uncertain.
There’s motion and calm, chaos and grace. Like the eye of a storm, this painting holds a quiet center—reminding us that even in turbulence, there’s colour, softness, and light.
