While painting this piece, I was filled with emotions — a mix of frustration and strength — and I let them flow through my brush. The layers of colour reflect that inner conversation: how to stay generous, but also protect your own space.
The earthy greens, deep blues, and soft lavenders merge with gentle warmth, creating a quiet storm that finds peace in its own rhythm.
For me, Hold Your Ground is about balance — about knowing when to say yes, and when to lovingly say no.
