Artist's comment
Living in Canada, I never get tired of the beauty of our Prairies. The endless sky, the open fields, and the quiet have a way of making everything else disappear for a while.
When I painted Our Prairies, I wanted to reconnect with nature and step away from all the bad news and constant noise that surrounds us every day. Painting this landscape brought me a sense of peace, and I hope that feeling is passed on to the person who welcomes it into their home.
For me, art is more than something beautiful to look at. It can change the feeling of a room, create a moment of calm, and remind us to slow down. I hope Our Prairies becomes a place where your eyes can rest and your mind can simply breathe.
