Artist's comment That day, we went for a walk on a gorgeous cold fall afternoon. The wind was strong, but the light was so beautiful — it felt alive. “Randonnée” was born from that feeling of freedom and freshness, where every step connected me to the colours of nature.
I painted it with many layers of my own blended colours — soft pinks, ochres, greens, and creams — allowing each one to find its place like leaves swirling in the wind. I added small drawn marks and delicate touches of oil pastel to bring that sense of movement and memory to life.
This piece is about walking, breathing, and letting nature remind us how beautiful simplicity can be.
