I imagine them arriving from every corner of the world, just like so many of us are doing right now. Some travel far from home, some rebuild their lives, some simply try to find moments of light in difficult times.
They chose their dresses for this evening as a small act of hope. Outside, the world feels uncertain, noisy, divided. But inside this room, there is warmth. Cultures mix, languages blend, differences become beautiful instead of threatening. They do not all know each other, yet they sit side by side, sharing a simple celebration.
It reminds me that even now, in a complicated world, people still come together. One birthday, one evening, many stories — proof that connection is stronger than distance.
