I imagine this woman at a moment in life when things finally slow down. The busy years are behind her, and she can finally enjoy the simple things she loves.Maybe she has always dreamed of a garden full of flowers. A peaceful place where colours grow everywhere and mornings begin quietly with a coffee in hand.

In these two paintings, flowers seem to appear all around her, as if life itself is blooming again. Perhaps you are a garden lover.Perhaps you dream of a place like this.

For me this diptych, each measuring 22 x 30 inches, is about that simple joy — when life finally gives us time to let our passions grow.
